Hi all,

My organisation has impact definitions that are not working well and I am lookig to define new ones, can anyone reccommened what definitions you have used?

I'm looking to define - High, Med, Low, Very Low and not sure if I should take an Company, site, user approach or defne as Extensive, Moderate and Minor

I need to understand a little more about how you are using impact definitions and 'codes'. Also what the problems are? Usually its fine to keep these to a simple short list and use them in tandem with urgency to give you priority. There may be challenges with how these are being used or how they have been defined and agreed - especially with your business/customers. To what extent has risk been defined and understood as part of this? Have business people been involved in setting out what they consider to be High/medium/low etc.
